About Department of Urdu

  • Department of Urdu was established in 2019-20.with Special Paper of Urdu but General Paper of Urdu has been teaching since 2007.
  • It has organized various programs in this very first year and several of them successfully functioned.
  • Dept. offering B.A. course at UG level

Objectives of Department

  • Enhance interest in Urdu literature.
  • Develop auditory, reading and writing capacity of Urdu language students.
  • Develop a sense of humanity, fraternity and social commitment among the students in the nation.
  • Encourage the learning skills and literary consciousness among the students.
  • Inspire students to spread and promote national language Urdu.
