Salient Feature of the Department

  • The first Department of English in National Senior College
  • 2008 – Establishment of the Department with the Establuishment of the Arts College, headed by the founder principal Moulvi Sir.
  • 2015- Certificate Course in English(Extension Activity) started.

Highlights of the Department:

  • Remedial Courses- Remedial and Bridge the Gap Courses are conducted for helping the students to improve their communicative skills, improving confidence in practical English course started from this an academic year ( 12 Aug. 2018 to 22 Aug. 2018.) including the Science students.
  • Mentoring and Counseling- the respective mentor of every class has to ensure that all the students of the class engage in the above methods. She also counsels the weak and the bright students separately for better learning and adaption.
  • Class wise Whats Appgroups to exchange academic information-
    1. Activity based teaching.
    2. 10 days Certificate Course has started in “English Communication Skills & Personality Development”
