About Program

Program of BA has been established from July 2007 right from the beginning of the college. The BA Faulty is providing good education up to under graduate level with English, Geography; Urdu as special subjects and Politics, Economics, Hindi are the general subjects. These Departments of BA faculty has the largest student strength in the college. The Department conducts Workshops, Seminars, Study tours and extracurricular activities time to time for all-round development of the students. The Department also conducts remedial coaching classes and arranges guest lecturers regularly for academically poor students. All faculty members are committed to provide quality education in BA.

Eligibility

No Candidates shall be admitted to enter the First Year of the BA Degree Course unless he/she has passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education Board or equivalent or University with English as a passing subject.
No candidate shall be admitted to the Annual examination of the First year BA unless he/ she has satisfactorily kept two terms for the course at the college affiliated to SP Pune University.
No candidate shall be admitted to the Second Year unless he/she has passed First Year with ATKT.
No candidate shall be admitted to the Third year of the BA Degree Course unless he/she has passed in all the papers at the First Year BA. Examination and Second year Examination with ATKT

A.T.K.T. Rules

As far as A.T.K.T. is concerned, a student who fails in two theories of passing at F.Y.B.A. may be admitted to S.Y.B.A likewise a student who fails in the two theories head of passing at S.Y.B.A. may be admitted to T.Y.B.A. But a student passing S.Y.B.A. but fails in any subject at F.Y.B.A cannot be admitted to T.Y.B.A.

First Year B.A. (Yearly Pattern) From Academic Year 2019 there is Semester Pattern

The medium of instruction is English. Specializations of subjects are allotted on the basis of Students interest in the specialization subject.
A student has to select seven subjects from the following list:

Second Year B.A. (Yearly Pattern)

The medium of instruction is English. Specialization subjects are allotted on the basis of Students interest in the specialization Subject. In S.Y.B.A. a student will have to study seven subjects including Environmental Awareness. He/She has to select Seven subjects from the list given below:

Group D) A student has to offer "Environmental Awareness" as a seventh subject.

Every Second Year student from all the degree courses has to offer a compulsory course on “Environmental Awareness”. A student will not get the Pune University degree unless they pass Environmental Awareness Course.

Third Year B.A. (Yearly Pattern)

The medium of instruction is English. The Student must continue with special subject of S.Y.B.A. In T.Y.B.A. The student has to select six subjects from the following list:
